Hey there, I’m David Nyman! I’m a local artist based in Chicago! I’m originally from Michigan, but I’ve called Chicago home for the past 15 years, and it’s played a big role in shaping my work and creative identity.

I earned my BFA in 2-Dimensional Design with a focus in Printmaking from Central Michigan University, where I had fun discovering the process of building images through layers, texture, and detail. Later in my adult life, I started exploring papercutting and further developed my illustration skills.
