**For customers outside the greater Chicago area, shipping a framed portrait can be costly—fees can reach up to $45 for a securely padded box to protect the glass. Rather than passing that cost on to you, I’ll send a matted portrait (unframed) in a sturdy envelope made specifically for photographs and art at no extra charge. In short: instead of a frame, you get free shipping. Then all you need to do is choose a frame that matches your style. If it helps, I’d be happy to share some frame recommendations.
